Summer is On Our Heels!

30 May

hermans

May has almost come and gone which means you can officially rock out with your smock out. Come join the Wendy Clark Band at Herman’s Hideaway  on May 30 for a night full of music and party spirit to keep your dancing shoes tapping. Join Wendy and  King Rat, Horse, Babihed, Wanker and the Swanks for a glorious Cricket on the Hill Reunion show. There will also be an open mic from 7-9PM hosted by Baggs Patrick.

What could you add to such a fantastic event you ask? Well how about great drinks? How about buying tix online right here to avoid the rush (and save yourself a few dollars from the ‘at door’ price – tickets $8 in advance, $10 at the door) ? How about knowing proceeds will be going to Mile High Scenesters?

Be there and have a weekend to remember. This is a 21+ club so leave the kids with the sitter and come on out. The doors open at 6PM so steer on down to 1578 South Broadway in Denver – for more info on Hermans, click on the link above.

Time to Break Out the Skates!

Sorry fans, didn’t mean to go mental on you with the last post – the date implied was a bit misleading and needs to be apologized for….the Wendy Clark Band will be performing at Tennyson’s Tap on the 13th of December…still plenty of time to prepare for a fantastic show at a great price…only $5-that’s more than Brittany paid for that hairdo! Also playing that night will be Gata Negra and Toddy Ivy so come on out and get your dance on!

A Thankgiving Tradition…

29 Nov

Since the earliest Thanksgiving dinners held in this country, Pilgrims and Native Americans would gather on the following Friday to watch the Wendy Clark Band perform……okay, maybe we’re stretching the truth a bit here, but what a wonderful way for you to get out this Friday to go see Wendy and her band perform at Tennyson’s Tap, along with Gata Negra and Toddy Ivy. Tickets are only $5 at the door – less than the price of a pumpkin pie in some parts of the world so get out this Friday and start the weekend with some great music!

28 Nov

Wendy Clark would like to wish all her fans a Happy Thanksgiving and wants yo to know how thankful she is to have so many loyal listeners out there. Stay safe and enjoy the holiday!

Cold weather is on the horizon but don’t let that stop you from getting out and warming up with a bit of rock from the Wendy Clark Band. Make a date on your calendar for December 13th (yeah, that’s a Friday the 13th) at Tennyson’s Tap as the Wendy Clark Band performs with Gata Negra and Toddy Ivy. Tennyson’s is the place to hear great live music so forget your superstitions, grab a black cat, walk under a ladder and come on out to hear Wendy and her group of usual suspects play the night away. $5 at the door and just a reminder, this is a 21+ club so leave the kids at home for this one. Tennyon’s is located at 4335 East 38th Street in Denver so start the weekend off right and go listen to some quality music.
